Gorgeous land! Friendly staff! Lots to do! Cons: prices for activities could be steep if you don't bring your own equipment. The shower houses aren't the cleanest if you're tent camping. I'd still return without a second thought! Beautiful place!

Great views. Friendly staff. Full hookups. Wide pads.

P.S. $20 per zip-line ride per person on a 100ft line over a grassy area is a bit high, don't you think?

Well layed out bathrooms could have used a little more attention and vending machines not operating but, it was off season

Loved the scenery. Gorgeous views and pleasant attendants. Bath houses need some work, but full electric and water. Bring a power strip and an extension cord, as each primitive site has 2 electrical outlets. Zip lining and disc golf, plus kayak rental and about 65 slips for RV camping.

It's a shame that an area of such natural beauty has fallen into this level of disarray. This is a privately owned and funded campground; no government funding as I'm aware. I have been looking at Little Black Creek for a while and was excited to finally have an opportunity to scope it out before booking a cabin. My visit and conversation with the women at the entry point left much to be desired. First, I was on my motorcycle with no camping gear, backpack, fishing pole etc. and no intention of doing any activities at the park other than making a lap to see the camping areas and cabins first hand. I was told I would have to pay $3, regardless of my intentions, to enter the park. I didn't mind paying, but she was very matter-of-fact with her answers and I thought that was a bit much for 10 minutes worth of investigation. Again, I understand it's privately funded so I paid. I have two boxers (approx 60lbs each) that would accompany me and my family if we were to come, with the sign at the gate stating pets were allowed. Upon inquiring to the stipulations, I was told only 1 dog was allowed per family and when I asked "What I was supposed to do with my other?", the lady stated "You can leave him at home, I guess". No thanks. The final deterrent was the price of a cabin, per night, was equivalent to a nice beachfront hotel with water access but instead you would be staying in a dilapidated plywood cabin (see pictures). Overall I gave them a 3 star because I feel Little Black Creek has potential and could be a fantastic campground if someone would put in some effort and make the park what it is advertised to be on their website.
